8 Day Golden Mahseer Angling Expedition

On this expedition we will take you to some very special places we have found for angling around the Corbett National Park. We have studied and fished this section of water for many years now, and we have selected a group of water to suit every anglers level of fishing experience. On this trip we can take you to places where Mahseer still thrive in massive numbers due to the successful conservation programmes being undertaken by the Forestry Commission in this particular state. The Ramganga River that runs through the Corbett Park is one of great beauty, as the crystal clear waters snake their way through steep sided valleys surrounded by thick forest, and dense jungle. The river also holds many other features for the angler to try, from white water rapids to deep holes filled with tackle breaking rocks and trees, and lovely shallow sections from where fly anglers can target specific fish in the clear water and cast to it. There are a number of ways in which to fish this river but no matter what your style, the fish can be seen and caught at very close quarters in the typically clear glacial waters of this area. We can also offer Tiger safaris and Elephant back walks through the Corbett Park, so just let us know your ideal plan, and we will tailor make your trip of a lifetime

Tour Programme

• Arrive at Delhi 11am (Flight not included in price*), drive to guest house for sleep and meal.

• At 10pm drive to Old Delhi Train Station for journey to Ramnagar (10.30pm – 5am).

• Arrive at Ramnagar (5am). Drive straight to Nagtalie, our new camp site for 06 / 07 season (big fish spotted in this area October 06). Full day fishing, overnight in safari tents

• Nagtalie – 3 full days fishing, overnight in safari tents.

• Machula Bridge - 2 full days fishing (1st night, overnight in safari tent; 2nd night, sleep on overnight train back to Delhi - 10pm).

• Arrive in Delhi (5am), transfer to guesthouse for shower, rest and meal before departing on your International flight home.

Trips Includes 

• Return transfer from Delhi (Indira Gandhi International Airport) to guesthouse.

• All accommodation. 

• Train travel to and from the Park.

• Fully trained fishing guides.

• 4x4 vehicle and driver for the duration of your stay.

Not Included

Alcoholic Beverages - Beer and spirits are available form the town so just ask one of the staff members and they will take care of all your needs.

Jungle Rides

These are charged at an extra cost but if you would like to spend some time in the Corbett Tiger Reserve or any of the national parks found in India, please let us know and we can plan as many days as you like. We can also provide many other activities including, walking, hiking, and rafting - just let us know your ideal break, and let us do the rest.
